ANNO REGNI VICESIMO QUARTO Seſſ. 2.
the Produce of the ſeveral Duties under the Management
of the reſpective Commiſſioners of the Cuſtoms and Exciſe
in *Great Britain*, an additional Impoſt or Duty, after the
Rate of Five Pounds per Centum upon the Produce and
Amount of all the ſeveral Subſidies, Impoſts, and other
Duties, under the Collection and Management of the
Commiſſioners of the Cuſtoms in Great Britain, upon
any Goods and Merchandizes imported into, or exported
from, or carried coaſtwiſe, in Great Britain; and alſo, an
additional Duty or Charge of Five Pounds per Centum
upon the Produce and Amount of all the ſeveral Inland
Duties, Rates, Impoſitions, and Charges (except as
therein-after is excepted) then payable to his Majeſty,
and which were charged and collected under the Manage-
ment of the reſpective Commiſſioners of Exciſe in Eng-
land and Scotland, were granted to his Majeſty, his
Heirs and Succeſſors: And whereas, by another Act, made
in the Twentieth Year of his Majeſty's Reign, intituled,
20 Geo. III, An Act for granting to His Majeſty additional Duties
Cap. 351 upon Malt, and upon Low Wines and Spirits made for
Home Conſumption, and upon foreign Spirits imported
into *Great Britain*, and upon the Produce of the ſaid
ſeveral Duties; and for granting a Duty on Licences to be
taken out by all Perſons trading in, vending, or ſelling of
Coffee, Tea, or Chocolate; further Rates and Duties
were granted and impoſed (amongſt other Things) upon
Spirits imported into Great Britain from beyond the
Seas, over and above all Duties, Charges, and Im-
poſitions by any former Act or Acts ſet or impoſed
thereon: And whereas, by another Act, made in the
Twenty-firſt Year of his Majeſty's Reign, intituled,
21 Geo. III, An Act for granting to His Majeſty an additional Duty
Cap. 173 upon the Produce of the ſeveral Duties under the
Management of the reſpective Commiſſioners of the
Exciſe in *Great Britain*, a further additional Duty or
Charge of Five Pounds per Centum was granted and
impoſed upon the Produce and Amount of all the ſeveral
Inland Duties, Rates, Impoſitions, and Charges, pay-
able to his Majeſty, and collected under the Manage-
ment of the Commiſſioners of Exciſe in England and
