relating to the Isle of Man, which
has lately received the Royal Assent;
and that their Lordships have it in
Contemplation to appoint M^r Courtenay,
a Master in Chancery, to be the
Arbitrator on the part of the Crown,
for that purpose: and therefore
requesting me to inform them whether
I am willing to dispose of these rights
& interests under the provisions of the
Act; and, if so, to communicate to
them the name of the Gentleman I
may choose to appoint to treat with
M^r Courtenay: and also to state what
are the rights & interests, besides the
proportion of the Revenues of the Customs
in the Island, which I am disposed to
surrender for such Sums as the Arbitrators
may determine to be a fair equivalent
for them —
