Know all Men by these presents that I the beforenamed
apptt Maurice McAuliffe And we John Quayle and Rich^d
Quirk of Castletown Yeomen are held and firmly bound
unto their Excellencies the Lord and Lady of this Isle
in the penal Sum of Three pounds To the payment whereof
well and truly to be made we bind and oblige our selves
and each of us by himself our and each of our Heirs
Exors & admors Jomtly and Severally firmly by these
presents As Witness our Subscriptions this 23^d day of
October 1764.

The Condition of the above written bond or obligation is Such that
Whereas the beforenamed apptt Maurice McAuliffe hath brought the
aforementioned appeal to be relieved ag^t the Verdicts of the Jurys
therein recited - If Therefore the said Apptt Shall effectually
prosecute the said appeal within the time limited in the acceptance
thereof and Shall and will well and truly pay or cause to be paid thereof[?]
all such Costs as Shall be awarded in case the Verdicts appealed
from be affirmed then the above written bond or obligation to be void
otherwise to be and remain of full force and Virtue

Upon hearing this Appeal in presence of the Appell^t
and Respond^t and upon Reading the Respective Jurys
Verdicts Appealed from - and upon consideration had
thereof, and of what was Exhibited pleaded argued &
alledged by each party - This Court is of Opinion that

by your hon^rs Decree Confirm the Same Therefore
for Relief in all and Singular the Premisses
