24. Expence cause and procure all and every the
Estates of him the said John Duke of Athole
which have been so sold and conveyed by him as
herein before is recited to be by all and every proper
and necessary Ways and Means whatsoever en-
tirely effectually and absolutely freed discumber-
ed and exonerated of and from the said Heritable
Bond and all principal Money Interest and
Costs now due or to become due and all Claims
and Demands whatsoever on or by virtue of the
same or in respect thereof and also shall and
will as soon afterwards as conveniently may be
produce and shew unto them the said Sir Charles
Frederick and Edmund Hoskins or the Survi-
vor of them or his Executors or Administrators
full and sufficient Evidence of the payment
and Discharge of all such principal Money
Interest and Costs and of all and every such
Estates being so freed discumbered and ex-
onerated And that he the said John Duke
of Athole his heirs Executors or Administra-
tors or some or one of them shall and will on
or before the first day of December next en-
suing the day of the date of these Presents at
his or their own Charge or Expence cause and
procure due and careful Search to be made
by some proper person or persons in the pro-
per Office or Offices in Scotland for the purpose
of knowing or discovering whether the Estates
conveyed by the said John Duke of Athole
