Structure of the castle, the Idea of its
having been used for the latter Purpose
is by no means unlikely. The architecture
of the first storey of 20 feet of the castle
has a great deal more the appearance of
Rubble work" and the wall is also thicker
than that of the superincumbent masonry
the Stones of which are Square and cut
to a more uniforme magnitude. The

for the Sewer of the Prison on the
East Side, North of the curtain or Tower
