Whereas I have received His Majesty's Commands signifying
that a Definitive Treaty of Peace and friendship had been concluded
between His said Majesty, the Most Christian King, and the King
of Spain, to which the King of Portugal had acceded as in and by the
Proclamation hereunto annexed is sett forth and requiring that the same
be published throughout this Isle—

You are therefore hereby required to draw out the
forces under your Command and cause the said Proclamation to be
published in due form And all the Inhabitants of this Isle are hereby
strictly charged to take Notice thereof and conform themselves
thereunto Given at Castle Rushen this 8^th day of April 1763—
