Sir

The Commifsioners received Your Letter of the
11^th Instant, signifying, that Complaint has been
made to the Lords Commifsioners of his Majesty's
Treasury, that several, and in particular, two
Swedish Ships, after having landed their Teas at
the Isle of Man, had arrived at Liverpoole and
been suffered to proceed from thence without Molestation,
and that this had happened since the Seizures of the
Ships, Henrietta, Bonae, and John; And agreably to
their Lordships directions the Officers at Liverpoole
were ordered forthwith to make the strictest
enquiry into the Subject matter of this Complaint, and
to transmit a circumstantial and impartial Report
thereof; And the Board having received their return;
I am directed to send You inclosed a Copy thereof, and
to desire You will please to lay the same before
their Lordships for their Information - I am with
great respect, (in the Secretary's absence.)
