Royal Proclamation will be publickly read and
Proclaimed on Thursday the 11^th day of July next at the
Croſs or Market place of the Town of Castletown between

That the Merits of the Said Claim having come
on to be heard before your Reverences at a
Consistory Court held the 11^th of March 1765
in presence of the Petitioner & of Tho^s Frough[?]
Guardian & Supervisor of the Children of the
Said John Killey & of John Quillm Attorney [?]
in behalf of M^rs Christian Killey the Widow
& Executrix of the Last Will and Testament
of the s^d John Killey, the Pet^r in regard the
Matters in Issue between the Parties consisted
of Sundry Accounts in the Mercantile Way
then proposed in Court to refer the Said
Matters to two Arbitrators, to be indifferently
chosen to Settle adjust & determine them
in a Summary Way, & in case the Defendants
in the said Suit declined accepting of the said
Proposal the Pet^r prayed that your Reverences
would refer the Said Matters to a Jury of
Merchants to report their opinion therof to
your Reverences.
That the Said Defendants having declined
accepting of the Said Proposal and
pretending that they wanted Time to come
duly prepared in the Said Cause the further
Hearing of the Said Cause was adjourned by
your Reverences to the 21^st of March 1765.
