The site of an early medieval keeill thought to have existed on the site of Maughold parish church. Three keeill ruins are recorded within the churchyard at Kirk Maughold, which itself occupies the site of a seventh-century Celtic monastery associated with a crosshouse holding nearly a third of the Island's pre-Norse cross slabs.
