An early medieval cross kept in Lonan church. Manx National Heritage's collections show that Lonan church houses more than one early medieval cross slab individually catalogued by antiquarian P.M.C. Kermode in his corpus "Manx Crosses" (1907) - including, among others, "Lonan Cross Slab (Manx Cross 27)" and "Lonan Cross Slab (Manx Cross 75)" - as well as the separately named "Hairdwillagh Cross Slab (Manx Cross 71)", also kept at the church. Note on ambiguity: it has not been possible to establish from available sources which specific Kermode-numbered cross corresponds to this Historic Environment Record entry, or whether it is intended as a generic record covering the church's cross-slab collection as a whole; this is flagged rather than guessed at.
