The site of a post-medieval watermill. Local history records that Edward Moore, after dissolving his sailcloth-making partnership with his brother James in 1814, relocated his business across the river to Tromode, where he set up operations in what is described as 'the old corn mill', an earlier watermill on this stretch of the river that pre-dated the Moores' industrial use of the site.
