Kennaa Corn Mill
Archaeology
Modern millpond.
The Ordnance Survey 1:2500 First Edition mapping of 1869 shows a building together with the annotation, 'T. Mill', denoting a threshing mill.
A 0.2 acre millpond stored water for the mill by means of a dam across a small stream draining the high ground to the south. A leat connected the pond to the mill.
The millpond still exists as a water feature, and is centred at the grid reference provided.
