A large granite saddle-quern found in 1947 on Ballacorkish farm, Rushen, whilst ploughing Ordnance Survey Field no. 982.


The quern is complete, and includes both upper and lower stones. It measures 520 x 360 x 220mm overall.


The stone is in the Manx National Heritage collections, accession no. 1954-5889.
