Mylechrane Cross Find Spot
Archaeology
The findspot of the Mylechrane Cross, a silver cross typically worn by clergy in medieval times, worn on the chest and suspended from the neck by a cord or chain.
The cross was kept by the Mylechrane family for several generations since at least the early 18th century, before its signficance was recognised. It is now in the Manx National Heritage Collections.
