A small Primitive Methodist chapel is shown here on the 1869 1:2500 scale Ordnance Survey map. It no longer stands and the site is now occupied by a modern dwelling. Known as Ballaugh (Ballaterson) Primitive Methodist Chapel, it remained in use into the 20th century before closing in 1969, after which the building was demolished.
