Estate or locality in the parish of German, recorded in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century sources as Kennaa.

The Commissioners of Inquiry recorded two inhabitants of Kennaa among the subscribers from Kirk German: John Gell and Thomas Quine. The same return placed them alongside residents of Ballaquane, Scarifdale, Knocksarry and other properties within the parish.

By the nineteenth century Kennaa was closely associated with the Gell family. John Gell of Kennaa repeatedly appears in the membership lists of the Manx Society and is identified as a member of the House of Keys.

The present evidence pack is largely composed of these repeated membership references and does not support a fuller history of the estate without additional targeted research.
