Parkfield Corner is the sharp right-hander taken just after leaving the TT Grandstand start area on Glencrutchery Road, where competitors dropped down off the Mountain Course onto the Willaston Circuit loop. Wikipedia's article on this road junction identifies it by its everyday name, St Ninian's Crossroads, on the A2 Douglas-to-Ramsey road between the Grandstand and the 1st Milestone, and confirms it was used as 'Parkfield Corner' both for the Clypse Course (1954-1959) and the later Willaston/Manx Classic circuit (1988-2000). The junction had earlier also formed part of the Highland Course and Four Inch Course in the 1900s-1920s.
