Greeba Bridge

Place

Greeba Bridge, about 6.3 miles into the lap, carries a Scandinavian-derived name: 'Greeba' is thought to come from Old Norse 'gnipa', meaning a peak, reflecting the island's Norse heritage. The crossing was previously known as Cronk Dhoo and sits amid open farmland on the A1.
