Ballacrye Corner
Place
Ballacrye Corner, at about 17.84 miles, is famous for a drop in the road that launches many racing motorcycles briefly into the air - reputedly the fastest and most dangerous jump on the entire Mountain Course. Spectating is prohibited immediately after the jump, but excellent, permitted views are available before it, making it a well-known photo point for the airborne machines.
