Bedstead Corner is a left-hander on Bemahague Road around the 36.9-mile point, marked by a pedestrian overbridge. The surrounding stretch between Signpost Corner and Governor's Bridge was largely rural farmland until housing and infrastructure development changed the area between roughly 1990 and 2015, and the road surface here has since been resurfaced.
