The Bridge Inn on Bowring Road was a working public house through the late nineteenth century: Ramsey trade directories record it run by William Kermeen in 1883, and by his widow Jane Kermeen (later listed simply as "Mrs Kermeen") through 1889 and 1892. It has since closed as a pub and is recorded on the Isle of Man's Registered Buildings list as a former public house.
