Andreas Rectory Andreas Village Isle Of Man IM7 4EZ

Place

Andreas Rectory, with its surrounding buildings and land, was for centuries the most significant residential building in Andreas village. It appears in the historical account of the antiquarian William Blundell, who described the parish during the 1648 to 1656 tenure of Bishop Samuel Rutter, indicating the rectory's presence in the village stretches back at least to the seventeenth century. It remains a notable landmark within the small farming village of Andreas.
