Stanley House Castle Street Castletown
Place
Stanley House on Castle Street, per William Henry Cooper's history of the town, once served as a Girls' High School; auctioneer, coroner and Castletown Commissioner D. T. Callow later used its front room as an office after buying the property, and it subsequently traded as Miss Paul's confectioner's shop before further use as a baker's and then a butcher's. The house retains an attractive Georgian fanlight above its front door.
