The Rocket House Parliament Lane Castletown IM9 1LB
Place
The Rocket House on Parliament Square/Parliament Lane takes its name from its original use: Isle of Man Government registration records identify it as the former H.M. Coastguard building, registered in 1984 as a house. The coastguard once used such buildings to store rocket-line apparatus used for shore-to-ship rescue, which is the likely origin of the present-day name.
