The former Ballaglass Power Station, in the parish of Maughold near Cornaa, was registered as a protected building in May 1989. The site sits close to Ballaglass Glen, on the northern section of the Manx Electric Railway between Laxey and Ramsey, but beyond its official listing no detailed published history of the station's construction or operating life has been found.
