Ballure Bridge Ballure Road Ramsey Isle Of Man
Place
This iron and steel viaduct on Ballure Road carried the Manx Electric Railway across Ballure Glen and was built in 1899, the year the line's final extension into the centre of Ramsey opened (the earlier 1898 line from Laxey had terminated just short, at Ballure). It was formally granted protected status by the Isle of Man Government in September 2025 as one of a group of historic transport landmarks recognised for their engineering and railway heritage.
