This is a K8-type telephone kiosk on Hillberry Road, Onchan, registered as a protected building on 1 September 2021. The K8 was the last standard Post Office kiosk design, created in 1965-66 by architect Bruce Martin for the General Post Office; around 11,000 were installed across Britain and its islands between 1968 and 1983, and surviving examples such as this one are now increasingly rare. No further building-specific history was found.
