Jubilee Clock Victoria Street Douglas Isle Of Man

Place

The Jubilee Clock stands at the foot of Victoria Street where it meets Loch Promenade, a Victorian clock tower donated by G. W. Dumbell in 1887 to mark the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria's reign. It originally had a horse trough built into its base, reflecting the horse-drawn traffic of the promenade in that era, and it remains one of the most recognisable small landmarks at the heart of Douglas's seafront.
