Constance Mona Douglas (18 September 1898 - 8 October 1987) was a Manx cultural activist, folklorist, poet and journalist widely regarded as the driving force behind the 20th-century revival of Manx folk music, dance and language. Raised by her grandparents at Lezayre, she published her first poetry collection, Manx Song and Maiden Song, in 1915 at age sixteen. In the 1930s she founded Aeglagh Vannin (Youth of Mann) and later helped establish the Yn Chruinnaght inter-Celtic festival, collecting and reconstructing traditional Manx dances and tunes that are still performed today.
