Sophia Morrison (24 May 1859 - 14 January 1917) was a Manx cultural activist and folklore collector born in Peel, best remembered for her 1911 book Manx Fairy Tales. A founding member of Yn Cheshaght Ghailckagh (the Manx Language Society) in 1899, she served as its secretary from 1901 until her death and edited its journal Mannin from 1913. She is considered one of the key figures of the early Manx cultural revival and represented the Island at the 1901 Pan-Celtic Congress in Dublin.
