William Hoggatt (1 September 1879 - 4 June 1961) was an English-born landscape painter who moved to the Isle of Man in 1907, married locally at Kirk Rushen, and settled first at Port St Mary and later at Port Erin, which became a hub of the Island's artistic life. Elected to the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours in 1925 and later president of the Manx Artists' Society, he exhibited at the Royal Academy and produced a prolific body of oils, watercolours and pastels depicting the Manx countryside, much of it now held by Manx National Heritage.
