Marion Shimmin (born Marion Fallows, 1879 - 29 June 1942) was a trained music teacher and social reformer from Manchester who settled in Peel after marrying Christopher R. Shimmin in 1906. Elected unopposed to the House of Keys for Peel in 1933 following her husband's death, she became the first woman member of the Manx parliament's lower chamber, serving on fisheries, health, insurance and education committees until her death, while also collecting Manx folk stories, language and music for Yn Cheshaght Ghailckagh.
