Elizabeth Holloway Marston

Elizabeth Holloway Marston (born Sarah Elizabeth Holloway, 20 February 1893 - 27 March 1993) was born in Sulby, the daughter of an American bank clerk father and English mother, before the family relocated to the United States while she was a small child and she was raised in Boston. A lawyer and psychologist, she is credited as an uncredited co-creator, with her husband William Moulton Marston, of the comic-book character Wonder Woman, and her work on blood-pressure research also contributed to the development of the polygraph lie-detector test.
