A bilingual (English and Latin) royal charter from King Henry IV granting ecclesiastical alms ('particles') to Luke Macquyn, a scholar of the Isle of Man. The grant provides for the support of poor scholars and specifies that the alms remain his so long as he pursues scholarly work for the Church and is not promoted.
