The site of a Methodist chapel at Ballakissack, in Santon parish. Land at Ballakissack was also used for other parish institutional purposes: a plot "part of Ballakissack" was bought for £50 on 28 February 1848 for Santon's new parish school, which was built at a cost of around £430 and opened in 1852, remaining in use until 1986. Santon's Methodist chapels in this period were otherwise centred on sites near Port Grenaugh and at Newtown/Ballakelly (the 1810 Ballakelly Wesleyan Chapel), giving Ballakissack a documented role alongside these in the parish's 19th-century religious and educational landscape.
