St Lupus Church, Kirk Malew
Archaeology
Several lintel graves were uncovered in 1948 during the excavation of a service trench in the footpath immediately outside of the present churchyard wall to the southeast of the church.
Three graves were recorded as being closely placed and on the same alignment and an unspecified number of additional graves were also observed.
