A post-medieval lead mine in Patrick parish. Dixon's Mine, in the Foxdale/Glen Rushen mining field, produced lead and zinc and operated from about 1835 to 1868, though few significant surface remains survive today (recorded location SC267780). A historical plan held by Manx National Heritage shows the old engine shaft, flue, chimney and associated lean-to structures.
