Corrody Burial Ground
Archaeology
Medieval burial ground. The site was investigated by the Manx Archaeological Survey in 1915.
The chapel lies in the ruined remains of a Bronze Age burial mound revetted by a circle of stones, measuring 12m in diameter. Other than excavation within the chapel itself, which recovered a Bronze Age cremation, no investigation was made of the burial mound, and it remains possible that the raised earthwork may contain medieval graves associated with the chapel.
