A hut circle recorded at The Sloc, a hollow between the Carnanes and Cronk ny Irree Laa. The location was noted by early antiquarians as a remote, sheltered spot appropriate for a small prehistoric village, with traces of a surrounding wall and, under a crag at the top, a collocation of small standing stones and circular hut-foundations. About two dozen huts have been identified in total. Nineteenth-century excavations by the Archaeological Commissioners, and a further excursion in 1921, found no relics of note. An apparent avenue of two rows of upright stones running east-west has also been recorded nearby.
