St Johns Mill
Archaeology
Modern mill tail race (site of).
The Ordnance Survey 1:2500 First Edition mapping of 1868-9 shows a building together with the annotation 'Mill (Disused)'.
The short tail race, some 30m in length, returned water to the river downstream (at a point to which the grid reference relates).
The tail race has been infilled, but its course is reflected in a property boundary.
