Foxdale Mill

Modern watermill.
The Ordnance Survey 1:2500 First Edition mapping of 1868-9 shows a building at the grid reference provided, together with the annotation 'Corn Mill'.
The mill building is orientated east-west. The wheel was located on the south wall, and various annexes, now demolished, provided storage.
The mill machinery was removed in 1971 and the building subsequently converted into a dwelling.
