Foxdale Mill
Archaeology
Modern mill leat.
The Ordnance Survey 1:2500 First Edition mapping of 1868-9 shows a building together with the annotation 'Corn Mill'.
A leat provided water power to the mill. This extended 95m upstream, where the inlet took water from the river by means of a weir and sluice (at the grid reference provided).
The mill leat supplies garden water features.
