A Neolithic barrow located in the field numbered Plot 1023 on the 1870 1:2500 scale Ordnance Survey map. A Neolithic Ronaldsway axehead was found nearby. P.M.C. Kermode's 1930 List of Manx Antiquities records two tumuli at Ballachrink, one 270 yards south-west of the house and the other the same distance north of Ballig; fragments of an iron sword and spearhead, since lost, were also noted as found at Ballachrink.
