A metal mine site recorded in Patrick, associated with the Beckwith's Mine workings on the northern slopes of South Barrule in Glen Rushen, worked for lead by the Isle of Man Mining Company between about 1830 and 1879. Its isolated position has helped protect much of the surface archaeology, and many original mine buildings survive nearby.
