The genealogy of the Christians of Milntown carries the connection. Of the numerous daughters of that house, Ann married one of the Bacons of Ballabrooie, and Major Caesar Bacon was her grandson. Her sisters married into the Moores of the Abbey, the Fines of Ballachott, the Curpheys of Ballakillingan and the Wattleworths of Peel, so the Bacons stood inside the same network of Manx families.
